Mission Minded…Grace Led! LWC is a church that is set on God’s purposes. We have our mind’s set on God’s great commission and are led by grace to fulfill it! There are approximately 350 in attendance at our combined weekly services. Here is a brief history…LWC is not a new congregation in fact we have been in existence since 1976. In 1993 the church began to build on 5 ½ acres on Highway 77. Exiting times have accompanied this body of believers since its onset. We have witnessed the building of our sanctuary and also the expansion of that place of worship to accommodate growth. On a weekly basis worshippers come from NW Tucson, Saddlebrooke, Catalina, Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, Dudleyville, Kearny and surrounding areas. A youth/children’s center was built with great expectations that God would fill it with children and youth alike. And that is exactly what has happened…We have seen the emergence of a dynamic children’s program. The youth ministry encompasses students from four different Jr. and Sr. High schools. Needless to say, the youth/children’s center is an EXCITING place!! Our aim is to fulfill God’s great commission and so we enthusiastically invite you to be a part of our future!! |
