Children's Ministry - (Preschool 3-5, Primary 6-10 or up through 5th grade) Bible lessons taught at
their level of understanding and focused on teaching God's Word and how they can apply to their own
lives. Classes available during both services.
Slam Kids Overdrive - (1st - 5th grade) Meets every Wednesday night for fun and games at 7pm in
youth building.
Youth Ministry - (6th - 8th grade and 9th - 12th grade) Teaching, outings, summer camp. SLAM
Youth Group's motto is found in the Bible: 2 Timothy 4:12. Classes available during both services.
Young Adult Ministry - (ages 20-30) Teaching, refreshments, fellowship, outings. Meets once each
month at announced day and time.
Young At Heart Ministry - (ages 55 & up) Bible Study, Potlucks, Outings, Games, Fun & Fellowship.
Day & Time TBA.
Women's Ministry - Teaching, refreshments, and fellowship with other women. The third Thursday of
the month at 6:30 pm (except for July).
Men's Ministry - Meet the 2nd Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Life Groups and Special Interest Groups - Small groups of people meeting in homes. Bible study,
sharing, fellowship, and refreshments. There is one for you!
Music Ministry - A group of people who enjoy using the gifts and talents that God has given them to
lead Living Word Chapel in praise and worship.
Sound/Tech Crew - A team of people who run the sound, lighting, and visual presentations.
Drama Ministry - A fun way to express your acting talent while spreading the good news through
music, drama, and dance.
Care & Share Ministry - This ministry is a way to use your gift of hospitality, to send a card or give a
call to someone who is sick or in the hospital.
Theophostic Prayer Ministry - LWC is offering a prayer ministry through which Jesus Christ can
touch those in the midst of pain and suffering, and bring His healing and His peace. We have
Christian men & women who have received training in this prayer ministry and are prepared to
minister to those who seek the Lord’s truth for their lives. These individuals will share testimony to
their own personal healing through this ministry.
Ushering - This ministry you are greeting people - with a smile, as they come into Sunday service,
handing them a bulletin and assisting them with seating, as needed.
Information Center - This ministry you are greeting people - with a smile, as you give information
about the church, activities and how to get connected here at LWC.
