| A Note |
Beloved,
This Sunday, I am going to begin a series that will take us on a journey
through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. For the next 3 month we are going to
collectively read through this wonderful book in the Bible.
My hope is that we will all grow in spiritual wisdom and insight in the
knowledge of God. I will preface this series with this remark, “I have high
expectations for us all!” You see God’s word is a lamp unto our feet and a
light unto our path (Psalm 119:105) and it will never return void. So we can
anticipate good things to come from our study of God’s word!
The first part of this series will be titled, “Secure in Christ!” The emphasis is
three fold centered on these key truth(s):
1st truth: Every believer of Jesus has been blessed with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places because you are in Christ! In other words
our Father in heaven has not left anyone deficient of His blessings.
2nd truth: Because you are in Christ you are a son and daughter of God!
You and I are not foreigners to God but instead He is our Father and desires
to make Himself known.
3rd truth: You are in Christ and the blood that Jesus shed at Calvary has
made you clean and forgiven! So now you and I can come to the Father
confidently to receive His love and grace.
